In project LIFE LxAquila, we aim to bring together local communities, authorities and specialists to protect Bonelli’s Eagles which, in the Lisbon metropolitan area, live extraordinarily close to people.
Objectives
- To create a stewardship network comprising land managers and users, be they private or public entities (e.g. local and regional administration, land-owners, hunting associations, forestry managers and recreational associations) who will be guardians of the region’s natural values, and in particular of Bonelli’s Eagles
- To demonstrate that predator conservation and human activities are compatible
