Main objective
Data collection will take place in centre-north Portugal, in December 2025 and January 2026. Students will get training on species identification and data collection. They will take part in the counts. Students will also have the opportunity to join other initiatives of fieldwork lead by our team, in case they desire to.
Available data
Data collected in December 2024/January 2025 will also be available for analysis. Historical results are intended to be collated from literature.

- Two surveys for monitoring and data collection
- Image processing
- Data analysis
- Submit the work in a peer-reviewed journal (e.g. Airo)
